Staying on top of our cervical health is so critical for all women. I am so grateful that I had access to Pap screening that allowed me to stay healthy for myself and my family. My healthy body housed this little human for 8 months. Did you know that cervical cancer was the #1 leading cancer that took women’s lives before the Pap test was invented and now it’s #15? Every two hours 1 woman dies of cervical cancer. 94% of OB/GYNs say the Pap test is an effective tool for managing the risk of cervical cancer and 91% believe co-testing is essential for patients’ health. It is important to continuously let all women have access to the Pap and HPV co-test. If this access is limited or discontinued, cervical cancer will take a lot more women’s lives.
