Several years ago, during a routine Pap test, my doctor found a cluster of abnormal cells on my cervix. Had I not been fortunate enough to catch the cells early, they would have likely turned into cervical cancer. Thankfully through treatment and follow-up appointments that did not happen. Y’all know women’s health and cancer are two very important topics to me as a woman and having lost my little sister to cancer. Did you know Cervical cancer was the #1 cancer killer of women prior to the invention of the Pap test and now it’s #15? I believe every woman should have safe and affordable access to the combined PAP and HPV co-test for cervical cancer screening.
